Lesson 5: Turning Investigations into Becoming a True Earth Steward
For lesson five, Becca, Donny and Natalie focused on earth stewardship, via composting. By
composting, one cares about the planet, learns about ecologically sound practices,
and does service by reducing waste and returning nutrients to the soil. They used red worms to introduce vermicomposting (worm composting), the processing of
organic waste by red worms.
