It’s that time of year again. We are beginning our end of the year testing. Here is a look at when we will testing and what days. As a way to make it more fun for the students, we came up with some ways to celebrate each day. Students may bring in gum and a small stuffed animal. There is no note necessary for gum if you have already sent one in during SBAC testing.
Friday, June 2nd - NWEA Reading
- Lucky Charms Day - Students can wear a luck charm to school to help bring them luck for their testing. Some students have asked to wear green too.
- Reward for job well done - Students are requesting an Electronics party. Date to be determined.
Monday, June 5th - DIBELs
- Twins Day - Students can dress as a twin with another student in the class. Some students asked if they could be twins with a stuffed animal, which was okay with me too.
- Reward for job well done - To be determined.
Thursday, June 8th - NWEA Math
- Beach Day - Students may bring in a beach towel, sunglasses, beach hat etc. (no bathing suits). This is a great way to remember to be “shining and positive” for testing, as well as, a reminder that summer is near.
- Reward for job well done - To be determined.
100 Squares Party - The students have also earned another party. We are in the middle of planning this party, so there will be more information to come.
