Space Exploration

Students took a Google Exploration to the Stratosphere.  Mrs. Beaudoin took the students on a field trip using an app.  They were able to follow a weather balloon up on its journey to the stratosphere.  Please ask you child about their trip.  It was amazing!!  Thank you to Mrs. Beaudoin for the experience.

Here are some pictures through the students eyes.

To end the journey, students watched a short video called "I Leapt From the Stratosphere. Here's How I Did It.  Check out the link by clicking on the words.

February Break Reading Challenge

Students will be coming home with their Winter Break Reading Challenge.  This will be due back by Tuesday, March 7th.  For students who complete the challenge, they will have lunch with me on that Tuesday.

March Book Order and Book It

Today students will be coming home with their March Book It and Book Order.  For the March Book-It, I wanted students to be able to record what they read over vacation.  With this in mind, I am asking that the February Book-It be turned in on Monday, March 6th.

The March Book Order will also be coming home.  It is not due til Thursday, March 9th.  But, feel free to order anytime between now and then.

Favorite Story Book Character

Students came to school on Thursday in their favorite story book character costumes.  We had Amelia Bedelia, Annie, and Harry Potter to name a few.
